IWASAN ANG MAAGANG PAGBUBUNTIS!

Ang kabataan ay pag-asa ng bayan — huwag hayaang maantala ang iyong mga pangarap dahil sa mga desisyong maaaring iwasan.

Maagang pagbubuntis ay may kaakibat na mga panganib:
❌ Maagang paghinto sa pag-aaral
❌ Panganib sa kalusugan ng ina at sanggol
❌ Kakulangan sa emosyonal at pinansyal na kahandaan
❌ Mabigat na responsibilidad sa murang edad

Pero *may paraan* upang ito’y maiwasan!
✅ Mag-aral nang mabuti
✅ Makinig sa payo ng magulang at g**o
✅ Alamin ang tamang impormasyon tungkol sa reproductive health
✅ Igalang ang sarili at ang kapwa

Huwag matakot magtanong at matuto — mas ligtas, mas handa, mas responsable!

Current Best Practices on Essential Newborn Care (ENC)

✅ Immediate drying (within 30 seconds) to prevent heat loss

✅ Skin-to-skin contact (Kangaroo care)

✅ Initiate breastfeeding within 1 hour

✅ No pre-lacteal feeds

✅ Vitamin K injection to prevent bleeding

✅ Tetracycline/erythromycin eye ointment for infection prevention

✅ Clean, dry cord care, no application unless indicated

📌 Cord clamp: delay for 1–3 minutes unless contraindicated

📌 Bathing: delay until at least 24 hours after birth

🧠 Teach these to every new mother.

Repeat.

Reassure.
