Argao Rural Health Unit Public Health/Primary Care This page is created to have a better understanding of the current health system of the municipality. e)

With this knowledge, it is expected that health programs will be supported in advancing health initiatives in favor of the Argaoanons. Furthermore, it aims to:
a) promote welfare to all constituents of Argao especially genuine indigent clients who may or may not have access to health services. b) Provide understanding of the topographic distribution and accessibility of the health facilities

and services with due consideration of the geographic landscape of Argao. b) Help address the lingering problem of structural handicap (e.g. lack of facilities/logistics)
c) Illicit a greater participation from relevant agencies and other concerned government and private authorities to support and/or augment health-oriented initiatives. d) create awareness of various health services and increase health-seeking behavior from clients.

commemorate the World AIDS Day to unite Argawanons in the fight against HIV/ AIDS. Also, an awarding ceremony for the Mural Making Contest will also take place later in the program.

🎨 Last Call for Entries! Join the HIV/AIDS Mural Making Contest! 🎨

In celebration of World AIDS Day on December 1, the Argao Rural Health Unit invites young artists in Argao to participate in our HIV/AIDS Mural Making Contest! This is your chance to use art to spread powerful messages of awareness, prevention, and hope for our community.

🏆 Top 5 Entries will be awarded at a special ceremony during our Educational Symposium on December 2 at the Sec. Cerge Remonde Sports and Cultural Center. Winners will receive recognition and have their artwork showcased for all to see.

🎨 Basic Painting Materials Provided:
• 1 liter of water-based paint in colors: white, black, red, green, blue, and yellow
• 3 different sizes of paint brushes
• 1 paint foam roller and tray

👫 Note: Underage participants selected for awards should attend with a parent or guardian.

The Argao Local Government Unit in collaboration with Philhealth Carcar LHIO gathered Philhealth Members for the kickoff of its new flagship outpatient program, the Konsulta Package during the Konsulta Caravan conducted today at Sec. Cerge M. Remonde Sports and Cultural Center.

The Konsulta package of Philhealth is part of the Universal Health Care Act of 2019, which aims to enhance primary health care services for Filipinos. It provides comprehensive outpatient services, focusing on preventive care and early detection of health conditions.

Key Features of the Konsulta Package are as follows:

1. Free Check ups and Consultation to accredited health care providers
2. Laboratory test and diagnostic procedures
3. Medicines for common illneses and conditions
4. Referral to specialists
5. Health Risk Screening and Assessment

Worry no more! PhilHealth Members and dependents of Argao can register at our RHUs and avail Philhealth's konsulta package.

Mao kini ang updated ng mga kaso sa Dengue sa Argao as of September 14, 2024. Adunay natala nga pakunhod sa kaso matag semana gikan sa September 1-14, 2024.

Base sa Distribution of Dengue Cases by Barangay from January to September 14, 2024, ang mga mosunod nga barangays mao ang adunay taas nga kaso sa dengue sa Argao: Bulasa (29), Poblacion(20), Canbanua(17), Lengigon(15), Lamacan(12), Binlod(12), Tulic(11), Guiwanon(10), Langtad(10), and Taloot(10).

Dugang niini, base sa Proportion of Dengue Cases by Age and S*x gikan sa January to September 14, 2024, ang pinakadaghan nga nataptan sa sakit nga dengue mao ang mga bata, ilabi na ang mga school age children (5-9 y.o)

*Search and destroy dengue breeding sites (pagpanglimpyo)

*Self-protection measures ( pagsul-ob ug long sleeves, pants/pajama, pag-apply ug mosquito repellants)

*Seek early consultation (magpacheck-up dayon sa doctor kung may mga sintomas sa dengue sama sa hilanat, rashes, sakit ang kalawasan ug uban pa)

*Support fogging/spraying activities ilabina sa mga lugar nga taas ug kaso sa dengue

*Sustain Hydration ( increase oral fluid intake)
