I had an opportunity to cook them a new dish.

Full of LOVE that I can't hate 🤍

I am currently riding a jeep going to Baguio City proper when my manager called me. I answered my phone and as usual since my boss and I have a same sense of humor, we really had a happy conversation about work. It was raining, I can hear the noise from the jeepney and other cars so I was not aware that I am already talking with a high pitch voice.

A few moments later the jeepney driver shouted at me. And he said “Ang ingay mo! Nakaka-bingi ka! Kung makikipag-usap ka lang sa telepono, bumaba ka na!”. I was startled, but to mollify Kuya Driver’s feelings, I said sorry to him and I just get off the jeepney even though I am still far from my destination.

Did I get angry to kuya driver? Honestly no. Why? My pity for him is stronger that I cannot even answer him back negatively. In my assessment, kuya driver does not look healthy. He is quite yellowish and he might be having a liver disorder. The way he became easily irritated with noises means that he is not feeling well. Kuya driver is lonely and he is full of anguish.

I hope kuya driver will be happy soon. I am praying that he will start appreciating every grace that is given to him so he will no longer feel any hate from his heart.

I am happy and full of love right now and I think that these are the real reasons why I did not even hate kuya driver eventhough he humiliated me in front of other passangers and eventhough I am going home late today because I need to get off his jeep and just walk going to Baguio proper.

Sometimes, all we need to do is to understand other people. We do not need to fight back. We should always choose our battles.
