✔Health education session on breastfeeding positions and proper latching
✔Distribution of breastfeeding pillows to EBF mothers

The efforts of RHU staff with the support of Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project aim to foster a supportive environment and ensure mothers adopt recommended practices, such as exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months and continued breastfeeding until two years and beyond. Their consistent guidance, support, and education are recognized as key factors in improving breastfeeding rates and associated health outcomes for both infants and mothers.

RHU Arteche Operations Center (OpCen) Activated!

After responding to Typhoon Tino, the team once again convenes as Typhoon Uwan is expected to enter PAR tonight or tomorrow morning. Arteche is currently under Signal No. 1.

Our RHU team joined the MDRRMC meeting for coordination, followed by an internal RHU meeting to strengthen our health emergency preparedness.. 🌧️💊

RHU-Arteche team, headed by Dra. Jhea Quial, conducted a Rapid Health Assessment in evacuation centers post-Bagyong Tino to monitor the condition of affected families and ensure that health services continue to reach those in need.
