Asingan Community Hospital, together with the PhilHealth YAKAP Team, successfully conducted a preparation meeting for the upcoming YAKAP GAMOT Launch this May 1, 2026 at SM City Rosales.

To ensure readiness and quality service delivery, the team also performed an actual YAKAP GAMOT simulation with patients—strengthening coordination, refining processes, and preparing for a smoother implementation.

Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Governor Ramon V. Guico III, nakuha ng Pangasinan ang Rank No. 1 (1.95%) sa pinakamababang childhood stunting prevalence sa buong bansa base sa Operation Timbang Plus report na isinagawa ng Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM2).

Patunay ito ng maayos na pagbibigay ng serbisyong pangkalusugan katuwang ang mga barangay health workers at nutrition scholars upang bantayan ang kalusugan ng mga bata sa unang 1,000 araw ng kanilang paglaki. Ang mababang bilang ng stunted na bata sa lalawigan ay sumasalamin sa epektibong paghahatid ng sapat na nutrisyon at serbisyo medikal sa bawat barangay sa Pangasinan.

Since March is Fire Prevention Month in the Philippines and March 12, 2026, coincides with the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) together with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Asingan and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Asingan.

"Preparedness is the best medicine. Asingan Community Hospital stands ready for the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill and Fire Prevention Month. Practicing our 'Duck, Cover, and Hold' and fire suppression techniques and life-saving protocols to ensure that our patients and staff remain protected, no matter what happens."
