Last Friday, September 12, 2025, at Corporate Room 2, representatives from OSA, GEC, Clinic, PTC, NSTP, and the Discipline Office gathered for the seminar โEvidence-Based School Substance Use Prevention Interventionโ with Ms. Francis H. Duka-Pante, Director of the ASEAN Training Center for Preventive Drug Education and faculty member of UP, as the guest speaker.
The training was proposed by the Institutional Drug-Free Campus Committee of the University of St. La Salle and made possible through the collaborative effort of various offices under the Office of Student Affairs.
Ms. Panteโs session reminded the participants that drug abuse prevention is not just a program, but a lifelong investment in the health, safety, and flourishing of our students because every life steered away from drugs is a future restored, a family protected, and a community strengthened.
