Last April 7, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross Negros OccidentalโBacolod City Chapter, through its Disaster Management Services, conducted a Multipurpose Cash Grant Distribution in the Municipality of Moises Padilla for families affected by Typhoon Tino.
In partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and under the leadership of Chairman Richard J. Gordon and Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang, this initiative was carried out in close coordination with the Local Government Unit of Moises Padilla headed by Honorable Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo, together with Vice Mayor Felix Mathias Segundo โPimpoyโ Yulo III, the members of the City Council, and Barangay officials.

A total of 627 families supported:

Through this initiative, families are given the flexibility to address their most urgent needsโfrom shelter repair to livelihood recoveryโhelping them rebuild stronger and more resilient lives.
