A godly wife is clothed in strength and grace,
Her heart seeks God in every time and place.
She speaks with wisdom, kindness on her tongue,
Her faith a song forever being sung.

She builds her home with prayer and quiet trust,
Loves not in fear, but hope, because she must.
More precious far than jewels wealth can buy,
She honors God in how she lives—that is why.

Goodnight!

“I SOUGHT THE LORD
AND HE HEARD, AND HE ANSWERED”

My heart leaps in thanksgiving and praise as I sing the song,

“I sought the Lord, and He heard, and He answered.”

How powerful it is to know that the answer is right in front of me — my husband. Yes, I cried out to the Lord. I sought Him, and He heard me. And He was the answer.
Today, my husband is praying with me and praising with me — a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness.

I love you You!!!

“So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”
Ephesians 5:28

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.”
Ephesians 5:25 (KJV)

God’s design for marriage is not about control, power, or dominance, it is about order, love, and sacrifice.

A wife’s submission is voluntary and unto the Lord, not forced by her husband. In the same passage, God places a greater responsibility on the husband: to love his wife with Christ-like love… selfless, patient, protecting, and willing to lay down his life.

Christ never forced the Church to submit. He loved first, served first, and sacrificed first. In the same way, when a husband loves as Christ loves, submission becomes a response of trust, not fear.

Marriage works best when:
-The wife honors her husband
-The husband loves his wife
-Both submit to Christ - Ephesians 5:21

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your perfect design for marriage. Help us wives to walk in wisdom, grace, and willing submission unto You. Help our husbands to love us wives as Christ loved the Church—selflessly, gently, and faithfully. Remove pride, fear, and misunderstanding, and replace them with humility, love, and unity. May every marriage reflect Your glory and Your truth.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What does it truly mean to be a wife to her husband? Is being a wife only something written on paper, like a legal status or a title? Or is it only about staying at home and fulfilling responsibilities assigned to a wife?

Marriage is more than documents and duties. It is a partnership built on commitment, respect, emotional safety, and loyalty. A wife is not just someone who manages a home; she is a companion, a confidant, and a person whose feelings and dignity should be protected.

Is it acceptable for a husband to talk to and be closer to other women than to his own wife? -Emotional closeness matters just as much as physical faithfulness. When a husband enjoys the company of other women more than his wife, it can create pain, insecurity, and a sense of being unvalued. Even if nothing “physical” happens, emotional distance and emotional attachment to others can hurt a marriage deeply.

How does it make a wife feel when her husband laughs more, shares more, and connects more with another woman?
-It can make her feel replaced, ignored, or not enough. Marriage calls for boundaries—not because friendships are wrong, but because the spouse should always feel like the priority.

Being a husband or a wife means choosing each other daily, not just in words, but in actions, attention, and emotional presence. Love is shown not only by providing or fulfilling roles, but by protecting each other’s hearts.

Ephesians 5:25

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”
