COVID-19 is causing an unprecedented stress not only in hospital services but also in the outpatient healthcare delivery. Patients are no longer able to follow up, adjust or update their medications and this in the long run adds more stress to our health system.

But this is lola. She lives more than an hour away from Bacolod and she is in her 80s. I saw her virtually, adjusted her medicines and sent her prescription online with the help of her apos.

It will be difficult at first, but we will need to adapt.
