“The Section of Neurology of the Department of Internal Medicine of The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional hospital would like to thank the the World Stroke Organization for the European Stroke/World Stroke Organization Angels Initiative Gold Status Award it has conferred to our hospital. Through the ANGELS initiative, we were able to improve quality of care of stroke patients by enhancing the knowledge of the stroke team to recognize stroke early and subsequently decreasing disability through timely thrombolysis. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole CLMMRH community from the Management staff, the Emergency room, ward and all personnel involved in stroke patient care. Our hospital continues to strive to give the best possible care for stroke patients in the city, the province and the region.”
