💭 “Who needs therapy?” is what people would normally say if they aren’t aware of its benefits yet.

In the Philippines, psychotherapy may be misconstrued as something only done for severe mental illness cases. Some also view therapy as something that can’t coexist with religion/faith. This is why we may sometimes hear statements like “Why go to therapy when you can pray?”

In reality, therapy can be administered even to those who aren’t experiencing mental health issues as a preventive measure. One can also enter therapy and practice their faith at the same time.
