Sharing the Philippine Orthopaedic Association's statement on bone-setting. Controversial as it is, patient's should have chances of alternative treatment, but medical practice is highly regulated in the country. Patients do not have any fallback should anything happen to them. My POV.

Thank you for reaching out. When you come for consult please make sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing so the doctor can better examine the area you are complaing about. For example: tight jeans may hinder leg, knee, thigh examination. Remember that the range of motion of your joints may not be fully evaluated if your outfit is inappropriate for your consult.
