The heat index today is expected to be high, which means it may feel much hotter than the actual temperature. Prolonged exposure can increase the risk of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

🔶 Stay Protected:
• 💧 Drink plenty of water — don’t wait until you’re thirsty
• 🧢 Wear light, loose, and breathable clothing
• 🌳 Stay in shaded or well-ventilated areas as much as possible
• ⏰ Avoid outdoor activities between 10 AM – 4 PM
• 🧴 Use sunscreen to protect your skin
• 👶👵 Extra care for children, elderly, and those with medical conditions

⚠️ Watch for symptoms: dizziness, headache, nausea, excessive sweating, or confusion. Seek medical attention if these occur.
