I had the opportunity to care for this patient diagnosed with Viral Encephalitis. When I first saw him, he couldn’t speak, couldn’t walk, and had no appetite. Now, he’s gained weight, is starting to walk, and is slowly improving.

Great job, Toto! Clinic days may be slow, with only a few patients, no admissions and some days I just sit around counting lizards and watch netflix 😂. But moments like these remind me why I do what I do. I’m truly grateful to God for using my hands as instruments of His healing grace. These experiences reaffirm my commitment to serve and care for these children. Special thanks to the co-managing services as well Dr. Amante (Pedia Neuro) and Dr. Micky Quisumbing (Rehab Med)❤️
