Earlier today, a fire broke out near our office and damaged more than 20 houses. Knowing how tired our fire volunteers were, we brought drinking water to the firefighters and volunteers on site as soon as the fire was put out.
In the afternoon, our team from Abe Funeral Homes prepared soup and bread for a small feeding program for the families affected and for those helping in the area.
Itโs a simple gesture, but we hope it brought a little comfort during a difficult time. We continue to pray for the families affected and thank all the brave volunteers who responded to the fire.
