A customer asked me how much it cost to do tooth extraction.

𝗠𝗲: 1500php

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿: Masyado namang mahal, bunot lang.

𝗠𝗲: How much do you think it would cost you?

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿: 500php maximum... Madali lang naman yon diba?! Saka mura lang mga gamit tapos antibiotic lang.😁

𝗠𝗲: Ok, since magkakilala naman tayo pwede namang ikaw ang gumawa. 😉

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿: Pero hindi ko alam kung paano...😂

𝗠𝗲: For 500php tuturuan kita, nakasave ka pa ng 1,000php. You'll get the knowledge na kailangan mo. 😉

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿: Sige, pwede na din.😁

𝗠𝗲: But to get started: May mga kailangan tayong gamit:
‌dental chair (100k to 200k)
‌personal protective equipments (1000 to 2k)
‌medicaments(1k plus)
‌autoclave(25k to 35k)
‌set of dental forceps(25k plus)
‌gauze, q tips (250)
‌mouthwash(350)
‌etc.

𝗠𝗲: Sure, nasa akin naman na yung ibang gamit, but for the peri apical radiograph you need to have one and I will refer you to diagnostic center (500 to 700php)

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿: X Ray Lang tapos ganun na agad price ? 😂

𝗠𝗲: Actually may ppe fee pa na 500 sa diagnostic center. ✌️

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿: 500 sa turo, 500 sa rent ng stuff, 500 na lang kulang para ikaw gumawa.😂 Konti nalang din naman ang idadagdag ikaw na pala gumawa.🙏

BAKIT ANG MGA DENTISTA AY MAHIGPIT NGAYON SA MGA DENTAL APPOINTMENTS?

1. The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks.
(Sa mga procedure katulad ng komplikadong bunot, cleaning, pasta di maiiwasang matalsikan ang dentista ng laway)

2. People can also catch COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or exhales droplets. This is why it is important to stay more than 1 meter (3 feet) away from a person who is sick.
(Imagine sa Dental Clinic na airconditioned, punuan, may umubo or nagsalita ay positive pala sa covid at iyong malalanghap)

3. Droplets can land on objects and surfaces around the person.
(Pwede rin naman na mahawakan mo yung droplet na lumabas mula sa positive na patient, dahil pwede itong magtagal ng ilang oras. Halimbawa sa Dental Chair umubo si patiente at humawak sa hawakan (arm rest) or kahit sa door k**b ng clinic).

4. May tinatawag na ASYMPTOMATIC PATIENTS, wala pang symptomas ng sakit pero sila ay merong dala dalang virus na pwedeng kumalat. Halimbawa kung ang isang carrier ng Virus ay pupunta sa clinic at mahahawaan ang 8 waiting din na patiente. Yung 8 walong patiente ay uuwi sa kanilang mga bahay at maaring hawaan ang mga kasama sa bahay. Yes po ganyan po kabilis kumalat ang virus.

As per advised coming from the Philippine Dental Association, Dentists are obliged to DEFER any form of Dental Treatment to our Patients. ( unless dental emergencies we can do it. )

Dentists are very prone to any bloodborne, droplets and airborne diseases. Please do understand that I can acquire this life threatening COVID-19 and I can also be a carrier and spread this Pandemic disease.

Our clinic hours will resume when permission is granted from our Government/PDA.
