WHY REGULAR BRACE ADJUSTMENT MATTER?
If you neglect your brace adjustments, several issues can arise:

●DELAYED TREATMENT:
Regular adjustments are necessary to keep the teeth moving steadily. If you miss appointments, the treatment process may significantly delayed.
●INCREASED DISCOMFORT:
Braces can already be uncomfortable. Skipping adjustments can increase pain and discomfort, as the teeth may become more tightly bound.
●INEFFECTIVE TREATMENT:
Without regular adjustments, the braces may not be able to apply the correct amount of pressure

●DAMAGE TO TEETH AND GUMS:
If the braces are not adjusted properly, they can put undue stress on the teeth and gums, leading to damage such as enamel erosion, gum recession and gum disease.

●INCREASE RISK OF PERIODONTAL DISEASE:
Poor oral hygiene and irregular brace adjustments can increase the risk of periodontal disease and gum infection that can lead to tooth loss.. 🥹
