Bago City Hospital Pays Tribute to Dr. June Jardinico-Trono

Last Sunday, November 30, 2025, the staff of Bago City Hospital solemnly gathered outside the facility to pay their final respects as the coffin of Dr. June Jardinico-Trono passed by the hospital grounds. It was a heartfelt moment of gratitude and remembrance for a beloved physician who devoted her life to healing and service.

Dr. Trono was known not only for her medical expertise but also for her compassion, sincerity, and dedication to every patient she cared for. Her commitment to public health and her genuine concern for the community have left a legacy that will continue to inspire the Bagonhon people.

Thank you, Dr. Trono, for your years of service, your kindness, and the countless lives you touched.

BIG BOOST TO HEALTHCARE. The City Government of Bago under the administration of Mayor Mayette Javellana received medical equipment as donation from Huawei Technologies Philippines Inc. through the efforts of First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta – Marcos, who will be in the city tomorrow, November 25, for the “Lab For All: Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat” event.

The equipment intended for Bago City Hospital use include four units of ECG machines (three channels), three Hydraulic Operating Manuals, four units of Electric Suction Apparatus, four Drip Infusion Controllers, four hospital beds (three cranks), and one portable ultrasound machine.

Mayor Javellana thanked the First Lady and her partners for bringing such a huge help to the city, as she expressed optimism that these equipment will boost the local government’s healthcare services for the people, especially the Bagonhons.

Saying goodbye is never easy, especially to someone who has touched so many lives with nothing but kindness, compassion, and sincerity. You were more than our Medical Officer III ,you were a source of comfort, strength, and warmth to both your patients and your colleagues. Your gentle heart, selfless service, and quiet dedication made a difference in ways words can never fully express.

Your laughter, your care, and your presence will leave a space that can never be filled. As you move forward to a new chapter, please know that you will always remain in our hearts. Thank you for everything, Doc ,for your patience, your generosity, and the genuine love you shared with us all.

You will forever be remembered and deeply missed. 🕊️💐

AWARD. The City Government of Bago, led by Mayora Mayette Javellana, received a Plaque of Recognition during the 2025 Provincial Sandugo Awards held at Ayala Malls Capitol Central on November 14, 2025.

The award recognizes the strong efforts of the City Health Office (CHO) and Bago City Hospital in promoting voluntary blood donation and sustaining life-giving programs.

AWARD. Bago City Hospital Chief Dr. Jesus Rey Pacilan presented the NBB Compliance Award for Level 1 Hospital to Mayor Mayette Javellana at the City Hall today, October 27.

Bago City Hospital recently won the award at the Pasidungog 2025 ceremony.

​The No Balance Billing (NBB) policy of PhilHealth ensures that eligible patients—especially indigent and sponsored members—no longer pay out-of-pocket expenses during confinement in government hospitals. This recognition highlights the city's commitment to providing accessible and compassionate healthcare for all.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer Mayelena Pacilan and PhilHealth Coordinator- Designate Kenneth Perocho.
