Filipinos now have easier and faster access to HIV testing!

In the past, it would take seven days to three weeks to know a person’s HIV status through a confirmatory test. Now, it only takes one day to get the results. HIV confirmatory tests can be obtained from 168 rHIVda laboratories across the nation.

The confirmatory test is required for those who had a reactive result in the initial HIV test.

In celebration of Cordillera Day on July 15,2025, the Local Blood Council organized a blood donation drive at People's Park from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.The council members remain committed to delivering an adequate and reliable supply of safe blood to patients in need of blood transfusion to survive.

In observance of Blood Donors' Month this July with the theme, “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives," we honor our voluntary and regular blood donors whose compassion, generosity, and selflessness are truly inspirational.

Through the Baguio City Local Blood Council and its strengthened blood donation campaign, we ensure that no one will be denied access to blood services.
