Stay hydrated. Stretch before you swim. Stay safe. 🏊🏼‍♀️

As women, part of asserting agency over your own body is saying “no” when you are not ready or you don’t want to. Actions have consequences, and not even your lifetime partner can or should force you to do things you aren’t comfortable with.

Most oral diseases are preventable, but only if people are protected from the risk factors that drive them.

By creating environments that make healthy choices easier and reduce exposure to to***co, alcohol, free sugars, and other harmful products, we can help communities prevent oral diseases before they start.

Strong policies mean stronger protection towards a healthier future. ✨

Oral diseases like periodontal (gum) disease, dental caries (tooth decay), and oral cancer needlessly affect millions across the Western Pacific.

To help prevent these conditions, it’s important for people to recognize early warning signs such as:

-Bleeding gums
-Persistent bad breath
-Toothaches
-Loose teeth
-Trouble swallowing
-Patches in the mouth that don’t heal.

Everyone deserves a healthy smile – supported by access to timely and affordable oral health care.

Policymakers play a key role in making prevention and early detection accessible to all. 😁✨
