We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Saint Louis Girls' High School, Batch 1973, for their continued and generous support of the BGHMC-Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Unit. Their recent donation of essential medicines and vitamins has provided much-needed aid to our young patients and their families at a truly meaningful time.
This gesture is especially touching as we remember the late Noney Padilla Marzan, the founder of Minda's Buddies Cancer Support Group, on her death anniversary, May 9. Noneyโs spirit of compassion and service continues to live on through acts of kindness such as this, reinforcing her legacy of care and support for cancer patients.
In addition to the recent donation, we also gratefully acknowledge Batch 1973โs remarkable contributions during their Golden Jubilee Year in 2023. In celebration of this milestone, they generously donated bedside cabinets, blankets, and water dispensers for the pediatric oncology ward. These thoughtful and practical gifts have greatly improved the comfort and well-being of our young patients and their caregivers.
The unwavering support of SLGHS Batch โ73 is a shining example of how community and compassion can bring light and hope into the lives of those facing great challenges. From all of us at BGHMC Pediatric Hema-Oncology Department and Mindaโs Buddies, thank you for your kindness, your legacy of giving, and for honoring Noneyโs memory through your meaningful actions.
