Here is the process for obtaining medicines as prescribed by your DHC doctor:
๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฃ ๐ญ: Visit your District Health Center to check their consultation schedule. You can also message them through their respective pages. Once you have identified the check-up schedule, go to the DHC on that day.
๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฃ ๐ฎ: Register with a health worker for your First Patient Encounter (FPE). This step is essential as it registers you in PhilHealth's Konsulta Package, which makes you eligible for free medical checkups, free laboratory services, and free medicines. Please note that the Konsulta Package needs to be renewed annually, so you will need to visit the DHC for renewal.
๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฃ ๐ฏ: Queue for your check-up. After the FPE and PhilHealth Konsulta registration, which only takes a few minutes, you can line up for your medical checkup.
๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฃ ๐ฐ: If your DHC doctor prescribes medications, you can obtain them from your DHC. The provision of medicines will depend on your diagnosis.
In case your doctor recommends laboratory tests, you can access free laboratory services at the City Health Service Office, located on Teodora Alonzo Street (some lab services may have fees but are more affordable than those at private health facilities).

*๐ก๐ข๐ง๐: Some medications may not be available at the District Health Centers. If you receive a prescription from a private doctor, you can follow the same procedure to obtain medications at the DHC. However, private doctors might prescribe medicines or brands that the government does not procure.
