The "Right Settings" According to Your Skin Needs to get the best result

The "settings" refer to three key parameters that your dermatologist or licensed laser practitioner will adjust. This is a medical procedure, and only a trained professional can determine the correct settings.

1. Energy (Fluence): How much power is in each laser beam.
· Low Energy: Superficial treatment, milder results, faster recovery.
· High Energy: Deeper pe*******on, more dramatic results for severe scars, longer recovery.
2. Density: The spacing and number of the microscopic treatment zones per square centimeter.
· Low Density: Wider spacing between beams. Less aggressive, faster healing, may require more sessions.
· High Density: Beams are closer together. More aggressive, more effective for deep scars, longer recovery with higher risk of side effects.
3. Pulse Duration / Stacking:
· Pulse Duration: How long the laser energy is delivered. Shorter pulses are more ablative; longer pulses are more thermal.
· Stacking: Applying multiple laser passes over the same area. Increases intensity and depth but also significantly increases risk.
