As one Louisian community, this serves as a gentle reminder to take a step back from academic and work-related activities. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬, whether through spending time with family and friends or just enjoying quiet moments alone.

On this day, all synchronous, asynchronous, and on-site classes and activities within the University are suspended. No academic requirements or submissions shall be scheduled. Internships, OJT, or practicum outside the University, however, shall proceed as scheduled.

Also, in line with the Day of Pause, all employees are encouraged to take part in a simple activity called “𝘊𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺: 𝘓𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘰𝘯”, centered on repurposing old items and handing them over to their new owners.
