Saint Louis University Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLUSHMC), in coordination with the Infection Prevention and Control Committee, successfully conducted a Lay Forum on Immunization as part of its Vaccination Day activities at the Outpatient Department (OPD).
The forum, entitled “Mga Madalas Itanong Tungkol sa Bakuna,” was led by Dr. Elizabeth E. Gallardo and was attended by patients, hospital employees, staff nurses, medical clerks, interns, and residents. The session focused on addressing frequently asked questions about vaccines, clarifying common misconceptions, and reinforcing the importance of immunization in protecting individual and community health.

Through this initiative, SLUSHMC continues to uphold its commitment to health promotion, patient education, and infection prevention by empowering the community with accurate and evidence-based information on vaccination.

In line with this advocacy, the Infection Prevention and Control Committee warmly invites everyone to participate in a Lay Forum on Immunization:
