September is Generic Medicine Awareness Month💊

Ang Republic Act No. 6675, na kilala rin bilang "The Generics Act of 1988", ay naglalayong isulong ang paggamit ng mga generic na gamot bilang LIGTAS, EPEKTIBO, at DE-KALIDAD na alternatibo sa brand-name na mga gamot.

Paalala: Upang makasigurado na ligtas, epektibo, at de-kalidad ang mga gamot na bibilhin, ugaliing bumili sa mga botika na rehistrado at aprobado ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) upang makasigurado na ang mga gamot ay lehitimo at nasa tamang kundisyon.

No OPD Services Today, September 22, 2025
Due to Super Typhoon and the southwest monsoon, Balabac District Hospital will have NO OPD Services today, Monday, September 22, 2025, as per the government advisory suspending operations in affected areas. Essential services, including emergency care, will continue. OPD Services will resume tomorrow, September 23, 2025. Stay safe and follow official government updates.

Tuloy ang operasyon ng mga ahensyang may essential services gaya ng kalusugan, seguridad, at disaster response. Pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag-ingat, iwasan ang mga mapanganib na lugar, at manatiling nakatutok sa mga opisyal na abiso ng pamahalaan.

Maraming salamat, Gov. Amy Roa Alvarez, sa mabilis na aksyon at agarang pagpapasahod sa mga empleyado ng Balabac District Hospital! Tunay pong napakahalaga ng inyong suporta sa ating mga frontliners na patuloy na nagsisilbi para sa kalusugan at kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan. Mabuhay po kayo at ang inyong liderato!

Tunay po na kami ay lubos na nagpapasalamat lalo na’t kami, isa sa pinakamalayong ospital ng Palawan, ang kauna-unahang ospital sa lahat ng 16 PGP hospitals na nakatanggap ng sahod. Isang malaking ginhawa po ito sa aming mga kawani at patunay ng inyong malasakit at maayos na pamamahala.

The session aimed to:
• Raise awareness among healthcare providers about best practices in neonatal and pediatric safety.
• Reinforce safe handling, medication administration, and infection prevention protocols.
• Emphasize the importance of communication, vigilance, and early warning signs in child care settings.
