The Office of Student Affairs and Services in collaboration with Head of Health Services Unit, Section Chairperson, ISPS, University Physician, SASO Campus Chairpersons, Campus Nurses across six campuses and University Student Regent initiated a meeting on January 3, 2025, at 4PM via Google Meet. The purpose was to address concerns regarding medical screening for Second Semester Enrollment, aiming to facilitate a seamless process.
As a result of this initiative, the medical screening requirements for the upcoming second semester of AY 2024-2025 are temporarily suspended during the break between semesters. This temporary suspension is intended to alleviate stress and reduce expenses for students. However, certain exceptions apply, including students involved in specific activities such as on the job trainings, ROTC, Physical Education classes and sports and athletic Events
Students who will undergo moderate and vigorous intensity physical activities shall undergo physical/medical examination 2-3 weeks prior to activities. The Health Services Unit will determine specific laboratory requirements based on the type of PE course.
