✅ Reminders Before Donating Blood:

🥗Eat a healthy meal (no fatty or oily food).

💤😌Sleep well the night before donation.

🥤Drink plenty of water before and after donation.

❌🍺Avoid alcohol 24 hours before donation.

🚭Avoid smoking at least 1 hour before and after donating.

✅You must be:

18–60 years old (16–17 with parental consent)

Weighing at least 50kg

In good physical health and feeling well

🚨Inform the medical team if you:

Took any medications

Recently had a tattoo or piercing

Traveled abroad

Are menstruating, pregnant, or breastfeeding

✅ Reminders After Donating Blood:

😌Rest for 10–15 minutes at the donation site before leaving.

🥤Drink lots of fluids throughout the day.

🚫🏋🏻‍♀️Avoid heavy lifting or strenuous activity for 24 hours.

🙅🏻‍♀️🍲Do not skip meals—✅eat something nutritious after donating.

🩹Keep the bandage on for at least 4 hours to prevent bruising.

😵‍💫If feeling dizzy or weak, sit or lie down, and inform staff if still at the site.

🚫🍺Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 24 hours post-donation.
