I wanted to open up and share a deeply personal journey with all of you. It's a story of transformation, hope, and the power of recovery.

The first step was admitting I had a problem with alcohol. It wasn't easy, but it was necessary.

I reached out to my loved ones and professionals for support. Don't be afraid to ask for help; it's a sign of strength.

💪 Treatment and Therapy 💪
I underwent various treatments and therapy sessions to address the root causes of my addiction.

🤗 Building a Support System 🤗
Surrounding myself with a supportive network played a vital role in my recovery journey.

🏋️ Developing Healthy Habits 🏋️
I replaced destructive habits with healthy ones like exercise, meditation, and exploring new interests.

📅 One Day at a Time 📅
Recovery is a day-by-day process. Each day is a new chance to move closer to your goals.

I faced setbacks, but I learned from them and kept pushing forward.

Today, I'm living a life free from alcoholism. I want anyone out there struggling to know that recovery is possible, and there's always hope.

OUR STORY

In April 1997, under what seemed to be a higher calling and personal determination, Toribio 'George' Gonzales Jr. embarked on a mission that held profound significance: to provide support to individuals grappling with alcoholism and drug addiction. George himself, having conquered his own addiction and maintained sobriety since 1993, laid the cornerstone for what would later evolve into the Day by Day Foundation in Angeles City, Pampanga. This initiative eventually transformed into the Sobriety Foundation Inc (SFI), a name that has become synonymous with its compassionate mission.

Spanning an impressive twenty-six (26) years, SFI has not only persevered but has also thrived, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals traversing the journey of recovery. The center's steadfast dedication to steering addicts towards rehabilitation has been a source of inspiration and renewal for many. Anchored in spiritual principles and centered on nurturing character growth, SFI's treatment approach continues to be a catalyst for transformation for those seeking liberation from addiction.
