The Balo-i Provincial Hospital welcome our distinguished guests from the Department of Health—Dr. Aqeelah Jakia Jovette S. Guinal, DMO V, Ms. Alana B. Pala, RN, DMO IV, and Mr. Marvin P. Corres, RN, DMO III—for a comprehensive Orientation and Updating on DOH Mandates and Strategic Directions, held at Balo-i Provincial Hospital, July 21, 2025.

This meaningful session served as a platform for aligning our hospital operations with the DOH’s 8-Point Action Agenda, the 8 Priority Health Outcomes, and the goals of Universal Health Care (UHC) through initiatives such as PuroKalusugan, Bucas Primer, and the strengthening of Primary Care Facilities within the Health Care Provider Network (HCPN).

Spearheaded by Dr. Sohainah D. Ismael, our Chief of Hospital, together with our committed hospital staff, the activity reaffirmed our shared commitment to elevate the quality of health services for the people of Lanao del Norte.

Ang Balo-i Provincial Hospital ay nagpapatupad ng No Balance Billing policy. Ibig sabihin, kung kayo po ay Normal sa Panganganak at may PhilHealth, wala na po kayong babayaran sa lahat ng serbisyo, at kung walang Philhealth maaaring bumisita sa ospital pasa karagdagang kaalaman.

Requirement:

1. Patient must have atleast 3 Prenatal check-ups (RHU or Hospital)

2. Latest Ultrasound

𝐏𝐆𝐋𝐃𝐍 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬’ 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, under the dynamic leadership of Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo, officially kicked off the much-awaited Employees’ Sportsfest 2025 last April 11 at the Mindanao Civic Center Gymnasium.

This annual event promotes holistic well-being, camaraderie, and team spirit among provincial government employees. Held earlier this year to accommodate upcoming activities, it ensures that winners will be recognized during the Civil Service Month culmination in September.

The opening day featured exciting Larong Pinoy games, igniting the spirit of unity and friendly competition among employees from different offices.

A series of sports and cultural events will unfold in the coming weeks, including basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton, chess, table tennis, e-games, dance competition, and the highly anticipated Search for Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2025.

Balo-i Provincial Hospital Celebrates its 15th Founding Anniversary

Balo-i, Lanao del Norte — The Balo-i Provincial Hospital proudly marked its 15th Founding Anniversary on April 10, 2025, celebrating 15 years of unwavering commitment to public service and healthcare excellence under the steadfast leadership and full support of Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo, whose advocacy for quality healthcare continues to empower the province’s health institutions.

A highlight of the celebration was the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the newly renovated Radiology Department—a significant milestone in the hospital’s continuous efforts to upgrade its facilities and enhance diagnostic services for the people of Balo-i and nearby communities.

The newly improved Radiology Department is now equipped with enhanced diagnostic capabilities, enabling faster and more accurate assessments—ensuring better outcomes for every patient.

The celebration was also a time to reflect on the hospital’s humble beginnings, its remarkable milestones, and the collaborative spirit that continues to drive its success.
