Empowering Healthcare Workers for Better Child Nutrition!

A successful 2-day PIMAM (Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition) workshop was held for the dedicated nurses and midwives of NVP Hospital, focusing on the care of children under five.

Spearheaded by Dr. Caroline C. Tugas, PIMAM Nueva Vizcaya Coordinator, the training featured expert insights from Dr. Catherine P. Robancho, Abigail T. Reyes, Jovelyn B. Caldito, and Jay Kris T. Rosete.

Participants took part in pre- and post-tests, plus return demonstrations to ensure hands-on learning and improved service delivery.

NVPH Admin staff actively participated, learning how small lifestyle changes can lead to big improvements in health. They even tried the Karada Scan to gain insights into their wellness.
