𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐬. 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭!
While Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) is a leading cause of infertility, it does not automatically mean that all women with PCOS will be infertile. In fact, many women with PCOS can conceive naturally or with the help of fertility treatments. Additionally, PCOS is a manageable condition with proper lifestyle changes, medical treatments, and regular monitoring.

𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡:
Infertility is not inevitable: Many women with PCOS can have successful pregnancies. Treatments such as lifestyle changes, medications like metformin or clomiphene, and assisted reproductive technologies can significantly improve fertility outcomes.

𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞: PCOS can be managed with lifestyle changes (such as diet and exercise), medications to regulate menstrual cycles and ovulation, and other treatments to address symptoms like acne and excessive hair growth. Regular checkups with a healthcare provider are crucial to managing the condition effectively.

If you suspect you might have PCOS or are experiencing symptoms like irregular periods, unexplained weight gain, or excessive hair growth, it's essential to get checked by a healthcare professional. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a big difference.

What is a Congenital Anomaly Scan?

A Congenital Anomaly Scan (CAS) is a detailed ultrasound between 18-24 weeks of pregnancy to check your baby’s growth and development. This scan looks for possible birth defects or abnormalities in the baby’s organs, bones, and overall structure.

✨ Why is it important?

-Ensures your baby is developing properly.

-Checks vital organs like the heart, brain, and kidneys.

-Helps doctors detect conditions early for better care and planning.

This scan is safe, painless, and highly recommended for all expectant moms. If you're in your second trimester, book your Congenital Anomaly Scan today! 💕
