Position : Ophthalmic Nurse

Location: Bangued Abra
Job Type: Full-Time
Application Deadline: July 15, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist ophthalmologists in clinical procedures and examinations.
* Perform preliminary eye assessments including vision testing, tonometry, and pupil dilation.
* Administer eye medications and provide post-treatment instructions.
* Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records and support clinical documentation.
* Educate patients on eye care, treatments, and medication use.
* Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.

Qualifications:

* Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice.
* Certification or specialized training in ophthalmic nursing preferred.
* Minimum of 1–2 years’ clinical nursing experience (ophthalmology experience an advantage).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer skills.
