A message for you — Happy New Year 2026!

The start of a timeline could mean a lot of things.

It could be the beginning of a new chapter, the ending of another, or the continuation of how we have lived our lives throughout the passing year.

But on top of all other things, one thing is for certain — this is a new year we shall celebrate and welcome with open arms.

As we reset our calendars, may we have the courage, self-confidence, and poise to grab all the great opportunities we will find, as well as the best decisions for ourselves and the people we hold dear to our hearts.

Here’s for a better year with better people, better selves, and better atmospheres. Happy New Year 2026!

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝙣𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚 — 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝙉𝙊 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘦!

This week, from November 16 to 22, let us join the 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 in upholding the importance of personal well-being over engaging with the dangerous consumption of drugs.

As we see to ourselves this week, keep in mind that substance abuse grants 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to any consumer.

It only disguises a path towards self-destruction and a potentially inescapable addiction that could bind one from achieving personal freedom.

Let us be reminded that 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 for our health and well-being, and with drug abuse setting itself as a prime example, it only tells us one thing — 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 for our hope of a better future.

𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒖𝒈𝒐𝒏, 𝑫𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒌𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 🤝🏻

As of the recent weather bulletin, TCWS No. 4 has been raised over Rodriguez, Rizal, while Signal No. 3 remains in effect across other municipalities of the province of Rizal. The strong winds and heavy rains brought by Typhoon “Uwan” are currently causing damage, displacing families and leaving many in need of urgent help.

In light of these events, the RNSHS SSLG is once again reopening its Tugon RiSayan Project—a long-standing donation drive that seeks to extend aid to those affected by calamities.

With this, we humbly call upon the RiScian community to take part in this collective effort. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹. 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠, a 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, and 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 let things get 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜.

With the semestral break concluding just recently, both school and personal activities may have once again begun on their slow ascent in numbers in our to-do lists.

As we tackle these challenges in front of us, let us take a pause and embrace today’s 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, encouraging the idea to never allow our stressors, and the pressure they bring, to be the constant thing in our lives.

Let us never forget to 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 — to lay down once in a while — whenever everything becomes a little too much.

May we remember to 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺, relax our shoulders, and unclench our jaws. Stress is our reminder that 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻, not machines.

Turn the faucet, grab the soap, be a Handwashing Hero!

On October 15, 2025, we celebrate Global Handwashing Day, let us reflect on the importance of proper hygiene in our day-to-day etiquette.

Let ourselves realize that through the simple act of washing our hands, we are already protecting not just our health and well-being, but also that of others from the evil of sicknesses dwelling on the surfaces we touch.

With all that said and done, what are you waiting for? Join the fight!

With the recent spike in earthquakes these past few weeks, let us look back on the things we must do in order to ensure safety and preparedness both for ourselves and the people around us.

Remember that as part of the school community, it is imperative that we stay knowledgeable of how to behave in times of emergency, especially in the presence of one as unpredictable as earthquakes.

Keep in mind that when disasters strike, our readiness becomes the best option for safety.

Face-to-face classes will shift to alternative learning delivery on Tuesday-Wednesday, October 14-15, 2025.

The classes in Binangonan and multiple municipalities of Rizal have declared suspension of face-to-face classes across all levels in both public and private schools to ensure the safety of the students and for preparation for the frequent earthquakes happening in the country. Please be advised to stay alert for further advisories and announcements. The REACH Club wishes to uphold the safety of all RiScians. ⛑️

As we continue through the difficulties that life never ceases to throw at us, let us take a brief moment and join hands together in belated celebration of yesterday’s 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

In line with this graceful day, may we be reminded to always check up on our dearest friends and family — to make sure they feel 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱, 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿, and 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 by the stress and pressure of their endeavors.

May we also remind ourselves to take a break once in a while, and let everything take its time; “𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝,” as the saying goes.
