The Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH-MC) Department of Anesthesiology, in partnership with the Regional Anesthesia Society of the Philippines (RASP), successfully conducted its First Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia Workshop last September 6, 2025.

This landmark event brought together members of the Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists Northwestern Luzon Chapter, medical clerks, residents, and colleagues from healthcare institutions beyond major centers. Their active participation, alongside the support of stakeholders, was instrumental in the success of this initiative.

By strengthening skills in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, the program aims to enhance patient safety and ensure more effective pain management for Filipino patients.
