Different minds, one community. This ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐๐ถ๐๐บ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ผ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ invites us to look beyond what we see and understand what truly mattersโacceptance, respect, and inclusion for every individual on the spectrum.
Guided by the theme โ๐๐ช๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐๐ฎ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ค ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐: ๐๐๐-๐ช๐ฃ๐ก๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ ๐ผ๐ช๐ฉ๐๐จ๐ข-๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐๐จ,โ we are reminded that awareness should lead to action. It shows a powerful message, awareness alone is not enough. Understanding autism, learning about the strengths, needs, and experiences of persons on the autism spectrum. It encourages communities to break myths, remove stigma, and see autism with empathy and respect. Knowing about autism is important, but supporting, accommodating, and advocating for persons with autism is where real progress begins.
Autism is not a puzzle to fixโitโs a different way of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world, and thatโs what makes our world colorful. This is not a sickness or something to be fixed. It simply means the brain works differently. Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a lifelong developmental condition that affects how a person communicates, interacts with others, learns, and responds to their surroundings. People with autism may show different strengths, challenges, and behaviors, and no two individuals with autism are exactly the same. Thatโs why itโs called a spectrum.
By learning, accepting, and supporting one another, we show that every mind matters and every child deserves to shine.
