Three of the highlights of my natal day were:
1. removing the permanent catheter of our patient who no longer needs dialysis because she just underwent kidney transplant a week ago;
2. accidentally bumping into another patient who at that time was waiting for his nephrologist for a follow up. We chatted and then realized that it has been exactly 5 months already after his kidney transplant surgery.
3. sitting beside my tatay (father) and my husband during the impromptu bday dinner w/ the family.
