A baby forms through human reproduction, which happens when a male s***m cell joins with a female egg cell.

Here is a simple step-by-step explanation 👶
1. Egg release (Ovulation)
Inside a woman’s body, the ovaries release an egg cell about once a month.
2. S***m enters the body
During s*xual in*******se, s***m from a man enters the woman’s va**na. Millions of s***m swim toward the egg.
3. Fertilization
If one s***m reaches and joins the egg, it forms a fertilized egg. This process is called fertilization.
4. Cell division
The fertilized egg starts dividing into many cells while moving to the uterus.
5. Implantation
The group of cells attaches to the wall of the uterus. This is called implantation.
6. Growth into a baby
Over about 9 months of pregnancy, the cells develop into:
an embryo (early stage)
then a fetus (later stage)
The fetus grows organs, arms, legs, and eventually becomes a baby.
7. Birth
When the baby is fully developed, the mother goes into labor and the baby is born.
✅ In short:
S***m + Egg → Fertilized egg → Embryo → Fetus → Baby

An Ectopic Pregnancy is a pregnancy where the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, most commonly in a fallopian tube.

Key points:
Location: Usually the fallopian tube (called a tubal pregnancy).
Problem: The embryo cannot grow properly outside the uterus.
Symptoms: Lower abdominal pain, va**nal bleeding, dizziness.
Risk: If untreated, it can cause tube rupture and internal bleeding, which is life-threatening.
Treatment: Medication or surgery to remove the pregnancy.

💡A serious pregnancy complication where the embryo implants outside the uterus and requires urgent medical care. 🚑

Periods stop during pregnancy mainly because hormones keep the uterine lining in place to support the baby.

Simple explanation:
Normally, each month the uterus builds a lining (endometrium) for a possible pregnancy.
If pregnancy does not happen, hormone levels drop and the lining sheds as a period.
During pregnancy:
The body produces high levels of hormones like Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, Progesterone, and Estrogen.
These hormones stop ovulation and keep the uterine lining thick so the embryo can grow.
Because the lining is not shed, the menstrual period stops.
✅ In short:
Pregnancy hormones keep the uterine lining for the baby, so it doesn’t break down and bleed like a normal period.
⚠️ Some women may still have light spotting in early pregnancy, but it is not a real period.

Important Weeks of Pregnancy:

Weeks 3–8: Most critical stage. Baby’s brain, heart, spinal cord, and major organs start forming. High risk for birth defects if exposed to harmful substances.
Week 6–7: Heartbeat begins and may be seen on ultrasound.
Weeks 11–13: End of 1st trimester. Screening tests can check for some genetic conditions.
Weeks 18–22: Anatomy scan ultrasound. Doctors check baby’s organs, growth, placenta, and sometimes determine the baby’s s*x.
Weeks 24–28: Test for gestational diabetes. Baby’s lungs and nervous system continue developing.
Weeks 34–36: Baby’s lungs mature and baby usually turns head-down for birth.
Weeks 37–40: Full-term period. Baby is fully developed and ready for delivery.
