LPU-Batangas Receives the Prestigious Gawad DUGONG CALABARZON 2024

The Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas (LPU-B) was honored with the prestigious Gawad DUGONG CALABARZON at the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP) Implementation Review held on March 26, 2025, at the Crimson Hotel, Filinvest Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The event recognized organizations that have made a significant impact and demonstrated strong support for the NVBSP through their committed and generous blood donation programs.

ICYMI: With flickers of candlelight in a united front, the Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas (LPU-B) community commemorated the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2025 through an event organized by the University Medical and Dental Clinic (UMDC) to honor those who lost their lives to HIV and AIDS.

Featuring a mini lecture on awareness and prevention, a candlelight ceremony, and a pledge of commitment, the program highlighted the university’s dedication to advocacy, empathy, and health education. The event, themed “Don’t forget to remember,” was held at the Lyceum International Maritime Academy (Lima) Basketball Court, May 19.
