✅ SUCCESSFUL MEDICAL OUTREACH & LARGE-SCALE PUROKALUSUGAN ACTIVITY | BRGY. DAMIT 💚🩺

In celebration of the 68th Araw ng Damit, a successful Medical Outreach and Large-Scale PuroKalusugan Activity was conducted in Brgy. Damit, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.

The activity offered a wide range of health services, including free medical consultations, cervical cancer screening through VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid), HIV/AIDS screening, Operation Tuli, immunization, family planning services, NCD risk assessment, RBS testing, distribution of maintenance medicines for hypertension and diabetes, updates on household health profiling, and advocacy on the 8-Point Health Agenda.

This initiative continues to strengthen community health by ensuring that every resident is properly reached, guided, and granted equitable access to quality healthcare services.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all Barangay Officials and functionaries of Brgy. Damit, headed by Hon. Barangay Captain Ricky Porras, for their unwavering support and active participation in making this activity a success.

We also extend our appreciation to the Bayog Rural Health Unit team, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Gretchen A. Dubrico and Rural Health Physician Dr. Keith Lester P. Duldulao; together with barangay-assigned RHMPP Gadelyn V. Dumayog, Nhwss Hrh, our dedicated BHWs, BNS, volunteers, and partner agencies — whose commitment and collective efforts greatly contributed to the success of this activity.

FHSIS Supervision and Monitoring Activity was conducted at Bayog Rural Health Unit in collaboration with the DMU DOH-CHD Zamboanga Peninsula Team.

The activity focused on strengthening the implementation of the Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS) through monitoring, validation, and updates on health data reporting, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and quality health information.

The RHU staff, headed by Dr. Gretchen Dubrico, Municipal Health Officer, together with Ivy Jane D. Nahial, RN – FHSIS Coordinator, actively participated in the activity in support of strengthening the municipality’s public health information system and healthcare services.

SUCCESSFUL BLOODLETTING ACTIVITY IN BAYOG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR 🩸

In celebration of the 59th Araw ng Bayog, the Municipality of Bayog, under the leadership of Mayor Celso A. Matias, through the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Gretchen A. Dubrico, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Pagadian Chapter Blood Bank, successfully conducted a bloodletting activity with HIV screening. This activity brought the community together to help save lives, with a total of 94 successful blood donors.

This meaningful initiative highlights the importance of maintaining a steady blood supply for patients in need, especially those undergoing surgery, facing emergencies, or battling serious medical conditions.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the selfless and generous blood donors, dedicated health workers, and supportive volunteers—especially our BHWs and BNS, who led by example by donating blood themselves—whose efforts made this event a success. Your acts of kindness truly make a difference.

Let us continue to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage more people to participate in future blood drives.

🏆 Immunization Leadership Summit 2026 🏆

The Municipality of Bayog was awarded the Plaque of Excellence during the LigTAS Tigdas Awards in recognition of its achievement of 95.32% coverage in the 2026 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA).

The awards, conferred on April 29, 2026 in Zamboanga City, highlight the municipality’s strong commitment to protecting children’s health.

This milestone reflects the support of the Municipal Government, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Celso A. Matias—an affirmation of the shared commitment to safeguarding the health of every Bayoganon child.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of RHU Bayog, headed by MHO Dr. Gretchen Dubrico, together with barangay officials, health workers, and partners who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the immunization campaign.
