Ngayong March 24, 2026, ganap na 6:00 PM, inaanyayahan ang bawat lungsod at komunidad na sabay-sabay magsindi ng pulang ilaw bilang simbolo ng ating determinasyong wakasan ang TB sa bansa. Inaanyayahan ang mga organizer na gumamit ng alternative energy sources at makiisa sa light-up ceremony gamit lamang ang energy-efficient lighting sa loob lamang ng 5 minuto. On this World TB Day 2026, PhilCAT joins the global movement to turn the tide on tuberculosis. It’s time to act, invest, and deliver on our promise to protect our communities. TB is preventable and curable. It’s time to end the stigma. Together, we can make the Philippines TB-free, Screen, Test, Treat and Prevent TB.

Observed annually on March 24, the day aims to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB and to step up efforts to end this global epidemic.
