REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Mechanics:
1. The Biggest Loser Challenge (BLC) is open to all NVSU- Bayombong Campus employees and officials regardless of status of appointment, age and gender;

2. Officials and employees with co-morbidities or with medical conditions, illness or diseases may get clearance from their physician before they can join;

3. Weight Requirements:
a. Male – for 5’5” and below with a weight of 70kilos
for 5’6” and above with a weight of 75 kilos and above

b. Female – for 5’0” and below with a weight of 60 kilos and
above for 5’1” and above with a weight of 65 kilos and
above

4. The registration is free;

5. Interested officials and employees may submit their
accomplished registration form at the university clinic.

6. Deadline of submission of applications and waivers of
challengers will be on May 8, 2025;

7. All qualified challengers shall attend the First Weigh-In and Orientation on May 13, 2025 at 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Library. There will be a short opening program prior to the Weigh-In and Orientation;

8. The duration of the BLC shall be twelve (12) weeks:
• On the 10th week will be the selection of the top 5 finalist (5 for Overweight and 5 for Obese);

9. Weigh-In shall be conducted every two weeks at the University Clinic
• Time-in will be 8:00am to 9:00 am only

10. An official Digital Weighing Scale shall be used for the whole duration of the challenge.

11. Participants are not allowed to take diet pills, laxatives and other unsafe weight lose means. Violation of this rule shall be a ground for disqualification.

Prizes
1st place: 5000.00
2nd place: 4000.00
3rd place: 3000.00

Due to high interest from potential participants who need a bit more time to complete their registration, the biggest loser committee believe that a short extension of registration would allow more individuals to join and benefit from this exciting and transformative challenge.

Interested applicants may register at the university clinic until FRIDAY, MAY 16, 2025.

An extended deadline would help maximize participation, foster greater community engagement, and ensure that everyone interested has a fair opportunity to be part of the event.
