Strengthening Communities Against Dengue! 🦟💪
In celebration of Dengue Awareness Month, the Provincial Integrated Health Office in partnership with the Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development conducted informative and engaging activities on June 4 in Dupax del Sur, June 17 in Dupax del Norte, and June 18 in Solano.
These initiatives aimed to raise awareness, promote preventive measures, and empower communities in the fight against dengue. Together, we are building a healthier Nueva Vizcaya—one barangay at a time! 🏥🌿

The Provincial Integrated Health Office (PIHO) headed by Dr. Anthony F. Cortez, PHO II, in coordination with the Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development (CVCHD), Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO), and RHU Solano conducted World No To***co Day, which is observed every year on May 31st, is a global health awareness day spearheaded by the World Health Organization (WHO). The day aims to inform the public about the dangers of using to***co and what people around the world can do to claim their right to health. The event was held on May 28, 2025, at the Highlander Hotel and Resort in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya."
In line with the 2025 theme, "Protecting Children from To***co Industry Interference," our community sought a unique and emotionally impactful way to raise awareness. We chose to express the message through the powerful medium of interpretative dance, which enabled us to communicate the emotional and physical toll of to***co addiction in a way that was both artistic and deeply personal.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in this meaningful celebration of World No To***co Day 2025. Your presence, energy, and creativity contributed greatly to the success of the event.
