Day 1 of our Managerial Course on Hospital Safe from Disasters (HSFD) is a wrap. âś…
Yesterday was all about turning concepts into concrete plans for R2TMC, and it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone working as one team:
•R2TMC Management Committee (ManComm) for the continued support and presence, making it clear that DRRM-H is a management priority, not just a side activity.
•Our partners from DOH – Health Emergency Management Bureau (HEMB), Philippine Heart Center, and Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, for generously walking us through real-world experiences, tools, and strategies that we can adapt to our context.
•Our dedicated Unit Heads and technical persons from all services who actively participated in workshops, group work, and planning sessions to align hospital operations with HSFD standards.
•The Engineering and Maintenance teams, for consistently ensuring that our physical environment, utilities, and safety systems are ready to support a “hospital safe from disasters.”
•Our HEDMU staff together with colleagues from:
•Medical Professional Staff
•Nursing Service
•Hospital Operations and Patient Support Services
• Finance Service
•Hospital Support and Ancillary Services
•Allied Health Professional Services
•Office of the Medical Center Chief
Thank you for your energy, insights, and commitment to making sure our plans are not only compliant, but doable on the ground.
•Our Creatives Unit and documenters, for capturing the sessions, group outputs, and key moments so we can look back, report properly, and continue improving.
Day 1 reminded us that preparedness is a shared responsibility. Maraming salamat sa oras, talino, at puso na ibinuhos ninyo para masigurong mananatiling handa ang R2TMC, sa anumang sakuna. 💙🌏💪
