The Biliran Municipal Health Office under the DOH-Chikiting Ligtas’ Program is enjoining all parents of children aged 9 - 59 months to avail of the Measles-Rubella vaccine (MR) and the Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) for infants aged 0 to 59 months.
This municipal-wide activity aims to provide additional protection to eligible children in Biliran and prevent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases such as Measles, Rubella and Polio.

Identified malnourished children of the municipality of Biliran received their FOOD SUBSIDY BOOKLET. A collaborative project of the LGU, Biliran-MHO & the Dept.of Agriculture towards the aim of reducing the malnutrition rate through the availment of lowered cost food products of KADIWA market located within the town.

The DOH continuously commits to provide free and effective high quality vaccines against COVID-19 disease. Regular scheduling of vaccination in the municipality of Biliran will be EVERY FRIDAY at the public terminal area, 8:30 AM onwards.
