About the role
As Payroll Supervisor at Glades International Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. Based in Biñan, City Laguna, this full-time position is responsible for overseeing the payroll function and providing guidance to the payroll team.
What you'll be doing
1. Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including timely and accurate processing of payroll, benefits, and tax deductions
2. Oversee the maintenance of employee payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
3. Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as HR and Finance, to resolve payroll-related queries and issues
4. Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
5. Train and supervise the payroll team, providing guidance and support as needed
6. Analyze payroll data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements
7. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll supervisory role, preferably in the accounting/finance industry
2. Thorough understanding of payroll processing, including relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
5. Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
7. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred
