As the energy from an inspiring event begins to settle, let us take a moment to look back on TeknoLunas 2024, which ran from September 4-6. With the theme "Transforming HEALTH Research into BIOMEDICAL DEVICES: Bridging the Gap for Equitable and ACCESSIBLE Healthcare DELIVERY SYSTEM in the Philippines," the event brought together brilliant minds to share advanced biomedical devices, research and insights, and discuss the future of Philippine healthcare.

We are proud to have been part of this transformative event and would like to give special recognition to two members of our team who presented their papers:

Mr. John Carlo Reyes - "Exploring Recent Advancements in Robotic Rehabilitation Devices in the Philippines: A 2024 Review."

Mr. David Garren Davilla - "Review of Methods of Measuring Sit to Stand Movement."

TeknoLunas 2024 was an incredible opportunity not only to showcase innovations in the biomedical field but also to connect with many inspiring professionals in the healthcare industry. Our team had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, expand our network, and explore new collaborations that will surely contribute to our future endeavors.

The event concluded with an awarding ceremony, recognizing participants and their valuable contributions to making healthcare more equitable and accessible for all Filipinos.

A big thank you to everyone who supported and engaged with us at TeknoLunas. Here’s to moving forward with more exciting innovations in the months to come!

The TAYÔ Project proudly participated as an exhibitor at the 7th PhilMedical Expo 2024, held from August 14-16 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. This premier event provided the perfect platform to present our cutting-edge work in assistive robotics and connect with leading healthcare professionals and industry innovators.

Over the course of three days, attendees explored the latest in medical technology, including our Lower Limb Mobilization (LLMo) device, together with the Agapay Project prototype device, both designed to enhance physical rehabilitation. The expo was filled with insightful conferences, seminars, and workshops, offering a preview of the future of healthcare.

As the event wrapped up last Friday, we left energized by the knowledge shared and the valuable connections made. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth and engaged with the TAYÔ Project. We’re excited to continue driving medical innovation and contributing to the advancement of healthcare in the Philippines.
