A meaningful Moral Recovery Activity was recently conducted in Sitio Balite, Barangay San Jose, bringing together members of the community in a shared pursuit of transformation through values formation and spiritual renewal.

By instilling the core values of honesty, integrity, discipline, and compassion, we empower individuals to become better citizens, neighbors, and leaders in their own right.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped plant the seeds of change in Sitio Balite, San Jose. Especially to our dedicated nurse, Mr. Roentgen R. Nalam, RN; and midwife, Ms. Evelyn B. Dominguez, RM. May this be the beginning of a more values-driven and purpose-filled Bislig.

07032025 | Emerging & Re-Emerging Infectious Diseases

The final polishing of the EREID Contingency Plan on Dengue has officially concluded. A collaborative effort led by the City Government through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), in close partnership with the City Health Office (CHO) and other key agencies.

This initiative is more than just a response protocol, it is a proactive strategy that aims to safeguard our communities from the growing threat of dengue. The plan outlines clear, coordinated steps for early detection, rapid response, and effective control measures that will minimize the health and social impact of dengue outbreaks.

Its significance lies in our ability to act swiftly and cohesively during a potential surge. With clearly defined roles and synchronized response mechanisms, we are now more capable of mitigating outbreaks, reducing transmission, and lessening the burden on our healthcare system.

The impact of this effort will be felt in how prepared, informed, and resilient our city will be in the face of vector-borne threats.

What makes this success even more meaningful is the invaluable guidance and mentoring of Ms. Milly U. Vios, whose expertise, dedication, and commitment helped shape the clarity, structure, and strength of the plan. Her contributions were instrumental in steering the team towards a unified and well-aligned strategy.

As dengue continues to challenge public health, we remain firm in our commitment to a safer, healthier Bislig.
