Happy Father’s Day po sa mga tatay ng aking mga pasyente! Kayo po ang OG alalay sa check-up, taga-bitbit ng baby bag, at certified paniker pag may lagnat. Kayong tunay na frontliners sa bahay — laging handang magpuyat, magpa-check up, at magbayad ng pedia consult(the man behind every vaccines and vitamins). Big love and salute po sa inyo!

Latest reporting from the CDC shows this year’s flu season is the deadliest non-pandemic flu season for U.S. children. 216 children have died. This number passed last year’s flu season, which set a previous high for a non-pandemic season with 207 pediatric deaths. Even with seasonal flu activity declining since its February peak, AAP and CDC recommend everyone six months and older get vaccinated against the flu. 🩺✨ 2nd Year of Private Practice: A Rollercoaster Ride! 🎢💉

As I step into my second year as a private practice Pediatrician, I’m feeling both happy and a little sad—kind of like when your favorite ice cream melts before you finish it! 🍦😅

Happy? Absolutely! 🎉 Most of my little patients come in for vaccines rather than being sick, which means I see more giggles than sniffles! 🤗💉

Sad? A little. 😢 Because as they grow, so does their fear of shots! 🏃‍♂️💨 Some tiny warriors turn into expert escape artists, and I have to get creative—cue the bribery magic! 🎁✨

From stickers to toys, I pull out all the stops to turn frowns upside down! 🎭 Because at the end of the day, a vaccinated child is a protected child—even if it takes a little negotiation! 😉💪

PS: To our parents, huwag nyo na po akong ipang-takot sa mga bata kapag makulit sila 😅🤭. Sa mga nagpapicture po, pasend po ako ng copy 🥰
