🩸 BLOOD DONATION DRIVE — GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE!
This August 10, 2025 (Sunday), Cebu Provincial Hospital – Bogo City is calling on kind-hearted individuals to take part in a life-saving mission. We are inviting all eligible blood donors to join our Blood Donation Drive, which will start at 8:00 AM at the CPH Bogo City Auditorium, located on the First Floor of the New Building.
🧬 Why donate blood?
Every drop you give can help save lives—whether it’s for emergency cases, surgeries, or patients in need of regular transfusions. Your single act of generosity could mean a second chance at life for someone else.

👤 Who can donate?
✅ Individuals aged 18 to 60 years old
✅ Must be in good health with no recent illness or major medical conditions
✅ At least 50kg in weight
✅ With at least 5 hours of sleep and have eaten a healthy meal prior to donation

📣 LOOK: Simulated Mass Casualty Exercise Drill at CPH-Bogo City! 🏥🚨

CEBU PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL – BOGO CITY actively participated in the Simulated Exercise Drill for Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) spearheaded by the DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH and City of Bogo Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO).

This vital activity aims to enhance coordination, readiness, and response capabilities in times of large-scale emergencies. Our medical team collaborated with various emergency responders in a simulated scenario to ensure we’re prepared when real-life situations strike.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: The individuals seen in photos/videos with visible "injuries" are actors participating in the drill. No real patients were harmed, and all injuries are part of the simulation.

This drill highlights the hospital’s commitment to emergency preparedness and community safety. Kudos to everyone involved! 💪👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🚑

This Scarlet May, we at Cebu Provincial Hospital - Bogo City shine a light on the importance of women’s health as we mark the beginning of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

As we kick off a month-long advocacy to educate, empower, and encourage women to take a proactive role in preventing cervical cancer—a disease that is highly preventable and treatable when detected early.

The morning begun with a short but impactful lecture at the AVR, where our dedicated health professionals will share important information about cervical cancer: how it develops, who is at risk, and what we can do to stop it. We will also emphasize the importance of HPV vaccination and routine screening—powerful tools that can save lives.

After the lecture, we invited the women to proceed to the OPD for a FREE Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) screening. This quick and effective screening procedure is offered to help detect early signs of cervical abnormalities before they become serious.

Scarlet May is more than just a campaign—it’s a movement. A reminder that women's health deserves attention, care, and action. Let this month be a time of awareness, early detection, and solidarity.

Today, Cebu Provincial Hospital - Bogo City celebrated another milestone as we officially occupied Building 21 for Station 1, located in the Raci Franco Building. This new facility will accommodate 30 beds, with 4 patients per room, ensuring a more comfortable and organized space for patient care.

The first patient to be transferred to Building 21 was Sinangote M. from Punta, San Remigio, marking the start of its operations. The transfer was led by Dr. Zoraida G. Yurango, our Chief of Hospital, and Ciribiribin H. Logarta, our OIC-Chief Nurse, alongside our dedicated healthcare team.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Governor Gwen Garcia for her continuous support in improving healthcare services in the province. Her leadership has played a vital role in making this expansion possible, bringing better medical care closer to the people of northern Cebu.

This expansion is a significant step forward in our mission to provide quality and accessible healthcare to the community.
