situated at De Lara St. Curva, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija; duly licensed by the Department of Health. By virtue of Republic Act 3603 approved by then President Diosdado Macapagal on June 22, 1963 the hospital started as an Emergency Hospital donated by Teresa Ilagan. t under the management of the hospital and changed its name into Bongabon District Hospital with authorized bed capacity of 25 beds. On July 16, 1990, a bill was passed to change the category of the hospital from 25 to 50 bed capacity. The bill was enacted into law by virtue of R.A. 7447 on April 22, 1992. It was on July 2007 up to present, under the administration of Hon. Aurelio M. Umali where delivery of quality health services to all Novo Ecijanos had come to realized. The Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija (PGNE) together with the different district hospitals, MCH, ELJMH facilitate to improve and promote the health and welfare of the community. With the help and support given by Hon. CZARINA D. UMALI in collaboration by the Department of Health (DOH) through the Health Facility Enhancement Program (HFEP) both infrastuctures and equipments, the objectives of ensuring the provisions and delivery of health services within the framework of the provincial government had been improved and strengthened.
