Barangay Expanded Youth Leadership Training Program Module 2 I April 22,2025 @ Liga ng Barangay Building

The MEYLGP Technical Working Group of LGU Bontoc conducted a Training on Barangay Expanded Youth Leadership and Governance in partnership with Zuellig Family Foundation among the Barangay Captain, Barangay Kagawad on Health, Midwife ,BHW , Parent Leader, Baranqay SK Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Youth Leaders of 3 Barangays (Sto.Niño, Hilaan,Guinsangaan).

Overall, the aim of the training was to reduce the Adolescent Birth Rate among 10-19-year-olds through strengthened relationships, wide youth community participation, evidence-based solutions, and an action plan.

U4U Teen Trail Initiative Empowers students of SLSU Bontoc Campus

To equip young individuals with knowledge on adolescent health and responsible decision making, the You-for-You (U4U) Teen Trail Initiative succesfully conducted at SLSU Bontoc Campus.Students actively participated in dynamic learning activity,discussions ,games and peer-to-peer learning sessions designed to enhance their awareness of adolescent reproductive health,responsible sexuality,peer pressure and life skills development.

The initiative aimed to educate and empower students to make informed choices regarding their health and well-being.

The activity was made possible through the strong collaboration of Municipal Health office of Bontoc represented by our AHDP coordinators Maria Gina C.Obbus ,RHM and PHN Myra Luz Gorduiz,RHMs and HRH, along with the full support of SLSU Bontoc NSTP coordinators and school nurse Ms.Cherry Ann Ceniza.
